# WASDI Supports WFP in Detecting Cyclone Amphan Flooding

WASDI has been used by the World Food Programme (WFP) to detect flooding caused by Cyclone Amphan in Bangladesh and India.

By leveraging satellite data, WASDI helped identify affected areas, supporting rapid humanitarian response. This collaboration highlights the power of Earth Observation technology in disaster management.
