# WASDI Supports FAO in Assessing Cyclone Amphan Flooding

WASDI has been leveraged by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to analyze the devastating floods caused by Cyclone Amphan in Bangladesh and India.

By processing satellite imagery, WASDI helped map the affected areas, providing critical insights for agricultural impact assessment and disaster response. This collaboration highlights the vital role of Earth Observation technology in supporting global resilience efforts.
